1. General Information

By booking a class or workshop with Bethany Claire Art, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings for art classes and workshops offered by Bethany Claire Art, whether made in person, online, or over the phone.

2. Booking and Payment

Art Classes

A booking payment is required to secure your spot in our art classes. This amount is specified at the time of booking and covers your space on the class and your sketchbook and portfolio and is separate to the class fees.
The first month class fees are then payable at your first session by either cash or card.
Class fees are taken monthly on the first session of the month, and are payable every month, excluding August.
There’s no minimum commitment for our classes but we recommend a minimum of 3 months attendance to see progress in your work.

Be You Again Workshops

A one off payment for the Be You Again workshops is taken at the time of booking. Booking for the next upcoming workshop open at each session to give priority to attendees.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by You: Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made more than 4 weeks (28 days) prior to the start date of the class or workshop. Cancellations made after this period will result in the forfeiture of the booking payment.
Cancellation by Bethany Claire Art: In the unlikely event that a class or workshop is cancelled by Bethany Claire Art, full efforts will be made to rearrange the session and should that not be possible a full refund of the deposit or session rate for the cancelled session will be issued. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Class and Workshop Changes

Bethany Claire Art reserves the right to make changes to class or workshop details, including the schedule and location, due to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible.
If changes to the schedule or location are made, and you are unable to attend, you may request a refund of your deposit.

Absences and Missed Sessions

Fees for classes and workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the reason for absence, including illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
We understand that situations may arise that prevent you from attending; however, due to the nature of our classes and workshops, fees are still payable even if you are unable to attend.
If you inform us of your absence in advance, we will do our best to accommodate you in a future session, subject to availability and at the discretion of Bethany Claire Art. However, this is not guaranteed and does not constitute a refund or credit.

5. Health and Safety

Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during classes and workshops. Bethany Claire Art is not liable for any injuries sustained during the sessions.
Please inform the instructor of any medical conditions or allergies that may affect your participation so that appropriate adaptations can be explored before sessions start.

6. Materials and Supplies

Unless otherwise stated, all materials and supplies will be provided by Bethany Claire Art.
Participants are welcome to bring their own materials, but please confirm with the instructor beforehand to ensure compatibility with the course content. Any personal materials are the responsibility of the owner and Bethany Claire Art are not liable for any loss or damage to these materials.

7. Photography and Media

Bethany Claire Art reserves the right to take photographs and videos during classes and workshops for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify the instructor at the beginning of the session.

8. Intellectual Property

All artwork and materials created during the class or workshop remain the intellectual property of the participant. However, Bethany Claire Art may request to use images of your work for promotional purposes, with your permission.

9. Personal Information

Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of managing your booking and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
